I began in scouting as a Cub Scout in Pack 575 when I was 7 years old. I got my Arrow of Light and bridged into Boy Scouts when I was 11. I am currently a Life scout working on my Eagle rank. It was not until recently that I discovered Venturing. To expand venturing in our area, my family decided to start a Crew of our own. I am now a founding member and the current president of Crew 128. During my time as a Boy Scout, I have earned all my ranks up to Life, as well as a total of 53 merit badges. In addition, I have earned my 4 year service star and completed my troop’s leadership training. Over the past few years I have discovered an interest in leadership and came to enjoy it even more once I began Venturing. Since then, I have completed the NYLT course twice as both a participant and Troop Guide. I returning this summer as an ASPL on the course. I have also been a youth staff member at the Bill Hart District Cub Scout Day Camp for nearly 5 years. In addition, I am a Pow-wow training course instructor and have been teaching classes there for 2 years. I have loved my scouting experience so far and can’t wait for more to come.
